Hayflowers
The blossoms of wild hay of the mountains are an indispensable herbal aid for healing and curative detoxifying baths, ointments, and poultices. I can tell you we regret it when we use up and don't replace our hayflower bath extract (we usually use the great Swiss product put out by BioKosma, and distributed in the United States by Weleda). The hayflowers can be used for foot soaks, hand soaks, or in small amounts in a full bath. A hayflower bath and a vigorous coarse salt rubdown prior to the bath will overcome the fatigue of overwork or overpartying. If you live in the country, make up your own extract. The mixture of mountain hayflowers diluted in water has a profound effect on the skin. In our family experience, hayflower soaks extract toxins, reduce inflammation, help undo party excesses.
