Cranberry
Cranberries can help fight infection. Cranberry juice is very effective as a drink and a douche in cystitis. Since cranberries are fairly high in vitamin C (a cup contains 15 milligrams), use cranberries for bleeding gums.
Cranberries contain an ingredient similar to that of the drugs that help control asthma attacks, and the following cranberry drink may help dilate the bronchial tubes.

Asthma Cranberry DrinkFill a stainless steel, ceramic, or, cast iron pot half full of fresh washed cranberries. Fill the pot, with pure filtered or distilled water. Simmer it slowly on low heat. The water will recede to the top level of the cranberries. Pour off the cooking water, strain the berries, and throw away the skins. Place the cranberry juice pulp in a labeled jar in the refrigerator. Use a teaspoon or two of the pulp in a cup of warm water to overcome an asthma attack. A few sips of this elixir may help restore normal breathing.
