Nettle
The plant is covered by stinging hairs. Each sting causes irritation and inflammation, but oddly the juice of the same flowers, as well as other nearby plants such as yellow dock, will instantly cure the sting.
The above ground part of the herb is a highly praised, cleansing cure all for the stomach, lungs, and intestines. I know a ninety five year old herbalist who insists that nettle juice or nettle tea will cure ulcers of the stomach and intesfines, He combines, and makes a tea of, nettle juice, plantain juice, and juniper berries. He suggests that the tea be sipped warm during the day over a long period of use.

The leaves of the young nettle are delicious in a salad or slightly cooked like young spinach leaves. Nettle has a reputation as a blood cleanser and acts in a tonic fashion.
There is a Father Kneipp nettle juice which can be purchased through gourmet groceries and through some health food stores and catalogs.
