Alfalfa Alfalfa is rich in vitamins and minerals. It will cleanse the whole system, and change it from acid to an alkaline state. This is useful, because most diseases develop concurrently with an excess acid state. Use alfalfa as a tea with honey and lemon or orange peel (dry your own organic lemon rind), or grow sprouts in your kitchen. Tablets are available.
AngelicaUse the stalk, making it into a cordial tea with honey. Angelica is good for the digestive system. Angelica candy is a tonic for the system.
Anise Anise is a powerful tonic. Use bruised seeds for tea, or use anisette liqueur in small amounts, as if it were an anise tincture
Basil Basil tea is an excellent and important tonic for the system.
Carrot Carrot juice is a tonic for the system.
Cayenne Pepper Add a few grains of cayenne to any herbal tea to achieve a mild tonic effect.
Centaury The whole plant is a bitter and useful tonic tea.
Peppermint Peppermint leaves stimulate and warm the body and are excellent for the digestive and nervous systems.
While this tea is readily available as a delicious and fragrant table tea, it should be alternated with other table teas.
Raspberry Raspberry leaves contain a substance which is very useful for all female organs. The leaves are a valuable tonic tea during pregnancy.
Watercress Watercress leaves are tonic. Eat some as often as, possible.
