Tonic Herbs Alfalfa Alfalfa is rich in vitamins and minerals. It will cleanse the whole system, and change it from acid to an alkaline state. This is useful, because most diseases develop concurrently with an excess acid state. Use alfalfa as a tea with honey and lemon or orange peel (dry your own organic lemon rind), or grow sprouts in your kitchen. Tablets are available.
AngelicaUse the stalk, making it into a cordial tea with honey. Angelica is good for the digestive system. Angelica candy is a tonic for the system.
Anise Anise is a powerful tonic. Use bruised seeds for tea, or use anisette liqueur in small amounts, as if it were an anise tincture

Watercress Watercress leaves are tonic. Eat some as often as, possible.
